How can Physiotherapy help relieve chronic pain?
Physiotherapy can treat a variety of conditions, including chronic pain. One of the main goals of physiotherapy is pain relief – which can be applied to any source of pain.
Our Physiotherapists will conduct a thorough physical evaluation by focusing on places with a limited range of motion, analyzing weak areas of the body, and looking for any imbalances in gait or standing. This helps to identify the underlying causes of your chronic pain.
We will then create an individualized treatment plan based on your specific needs. This will include manual therapy, electrotherapy, Dry Needling, and cupping or myofascial therapy. It may also include targeted exercises to increase strength and stretching to correct muscle imbalances. Your treatment plan will include in-clinic treatments, as well as at-home programs, to ensure that you are remaining healthy and active at all times.
